We've started the tomato plants for you! Our tomato plant plugs bundle includes the Shelby Tomato, Hossinator Tomato, Red Snapper Tomato, and the Better Boy Tomato. You will receive 10 plugs of each variety that are ready to be transplanted to your garden. These tomato varieties have heavy-yield and excellent disease resistance. Shelby, Hossinator, and Red Snapper are all determinate varieties, while the Better Boy is an indeterminate variety. Solanum lycopersicum. Seed garden label included. 40 plugs
Tomatoes are in the nightshade family along with peppers and eggplant. Plants in the nightshade family are susceptible to blossom end rot, which is a result of a calcium deficiency. To prevent or alleviate this problem, apply pelleted gypsum at the base of the plant at bloom set. We recommend using the Florida Weave trellising technique that involves using stakes and twine along the row. This ensures that plants and fruits stay off the ground, reducing the possibility of disease and keeping fruits clean.

Hoss will conduct a full assessment of plants before they are shipped to ensure healthy plants are shipped to you. We recommend transplanting your plugs the same day you receive them or the next day. It is the customer's responsibility to assess their own weather conditions and planting times prior to ordering, please do not order if it's too early. If plants, upon arrival, are found to be in questionable health, please email pictures to Customer Support at support@growhoss.com within 24 hours of receiving your order and we will promptly review your concerns and submission. If your plants are not watered or planted in a timely manner, they may not survive.

I have ordered these for the last 2 years and they have performed so very well! I put them in the refrigerator solo cups for a little extra growth and then plant! They are my healthiest plants!
Plants are thriving- strong quality plugs arrived in excellant condition. I like be able to choose the delivery week for my planting window. Most are new varieties to me but excited to see what they produce.
Plants look amazing!! I had a shipping snafu - I live in southern. Ala and somehow my plants ended up in Albuquerque NM before the post office figured out where to send them. When they arrived they were dry but looked good. I planted immediately and they began to thrive. These are some of the best tomatoes I have ever grown. The plants are about 2 weeks from harvesting and are beautiful. No wilting, no diseases, no fungus and no yellowing leaves. Very happy with my purchase.
Everything came in great shape and are looking good. We had some that are still a little small, but I believe they got a little to much fertilizer to start.
I've always started my tomatoes by seed, but got a late start this year, so I ordered the plugs, I wasn't sure how they would do, but I will do this every year now, it was so easy, and the plants were so healthy, and now they are loaded with tomatoes!!
