Seed Tapes Do Not Work

I tried several lengths of the seed tape. All of them "floated" to the surface and I had to keep reburying them. I seems like the carrot seed(s) took longer to sprout. I currently have them in several locations to see how they grow: 1. planter/potato growing bags, 2. turned over, unworked Alabama clay, & 3. standard raised-bed, augmented soil. I will try to follow up.

Stick to seeds. I have used several "Brands" of seed tapes and NONE of them seem to work.

Arrived quickly

The carrots I only got a few to germinate but the ease of planting was so nice. I will be adding some more seeds to that bed unfortunately.
Everything else I ordered had great germinate rate.
I planted the carrots the same way I always have had success but I do know how temperamental carrots can be so will try again
