Genovese Basil Microgreens
Genovese Basil Microgreens are a mucilaginous seed, giving them a jelly-like coating when wet. They are slow-growing and require more frequent misting for optimal growth. With their vibrant green color and unique shape, these basil microgreens make for a colorful garnish with an intense flavor. Perfect for a dish or garnish, these micro basil seeds are worth the investment for their great flavor.
To grow Genovese Basil Microgreens, start by sowing the seeds in the soil and covering them with a thin layer of soil. Keep the seeds covered with a 1020 Microgreen Reservoir Tray for 4-7 days before exposing them to light. Once the seeds have grown, move them under our Hoss Light Kit or sunlight for maturing. Finally, cut the microgreens close to the soil line, and enjoy your fresh and healthy microgreens!
