Description

German Chamomile is an annual that produces small, daisy-like flowers. Plants produce sweet, pineapple-like, aromatic blooms. Grown for medicinal use; Chamomile is known to aid with digestion and boasts anti-inflammatory properties. It also makes for a great ground cover and can also be grown in raised beds or containers. When planting Chamomile, do not cover small Seeds, but tightly press them into the soil. They do require light to germinate. When flowers are fully fragrant and open, use your fingers as a rake to harvest them. You primarily want to use the blooms but you can also use the leaves when using medicinally. It does require full sun and prefers rich soil to grow successfully.

Not sure why

I wanted to start chamomile inside and then move it to my greenhouse after germination. It’s been almost 2 weeks and nothing has happened. I follow directions on the packaging. Any ideas?

Chamomile seeds need light to germinate, so scatter them and press them firmly onto the soil, but do not cover the seeds with soil. Water regularly, and they should germinate in seven to 14 days. The soil temp needs to be at least 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Please keep us updated and contact us at support@growhoss.com if there are still issues in the next few days.
