Red Snapper Tomato a hybrid, determinate tomato variety with consistent fruit set in warmer conditions. It has an excellent disease-resistance package including resistance to Tomato Spotted Wilt Virus and Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus. Red Snapper produces large to extra-large, round fruits. Fruits are deep red with a delicious flavor. Red Snapper Tomato is an extremely productive variety with a bush growing habit. It is a versatile variety that can be harvested as mature-green tomatoes or vine ripe tomatoes. Fruits have a remarkable shelf-life once harvested which makes this a great variety for the backyard gardener or small-scale market farmer. Plants benefit from pruning early.

This is the first time I have tried starting with seeds, and it had been really fun watching the plants grow. I think only one seed didn't germinate, but there were extra seeds in the envelope so I have 13 little tomato plants getting ready for the 'hardening off' stage.
I received six seedlings of this variety, all in excellent condition! I have planted half in raised beds and the other half in 8 gallon pots, all are developing nicely. The plants are stocky and dense, so far, with lush leaves. I am eager to see how they perform here in out tropical torpor. Baton Rouge, LA - Zone 9a
Hello, too early to give a review but the seedlings all came up! Very excited about seeing what they will look like but more importantly taste like! NE Ohio here zone 6, I’ll be putting them out fist week of May depending on our weather.
This is the third year growing this variety, and will be growing them again. All seeds germinated. Though it is a determinate, they grow quite tall—way over 5 foot homemade cages. Great producer, good flavor and a nice big slicer size tomato.
