Description

Antares Fennel is a flowering plant species in the carrot family. A hardy herb with yellow flowers and feathery leaves. Indigenous to the shores of the Mediterranean but has been widely naturalized in many parts of the world, especially on dry soils near the sea-coasts and rivers banks.

 

Growing Information

When it comes to growing fennel, transplanting is the way to go. This plant boasts lively green leaves that can reach up to two feet tall, and produces 4-inch fruits. You can even grow it in containers or raised beds. Just remember to start your seeds in our seed starting trays about 4 weeks before putting them in the ground. And don't forget, fennel loves the sun!

So far I've had 100% germination and fennel is growing strong and bulbing beautifully. They look similar to photos here, my bulbs are a bit flatter and longer height-wise.
