TubTrugs are Essential for Garden Harvesting

On this week's episode, Travis talks all about our TubTrug harvesting containers. The TubTrugs are made to be lightweight and flexible for many different uses in the garden and around the homestead. Unlike other plastic harvesting buckets, the TubTrugs are UV resistance so they will not crack if left out in the sun and become damaged from other harsh weather conditions. These TubTrugs come in various sizes such as the Mini Shallow, Small, Small Shallow, Medium, and Large Shallow. The mini shallow has a 1.3g capacity that works best for small harvests or used on the homestead for food prep. The small TubTrug is 3.7g capacity and works great for dinner harvest or for storing and transport small garden tools to and from the garden area. While the small shallow TubTrug has a 4g capacity and works perfectly for sorting, cleaning, and processing vegetables. Next, the medium container has a 6.9g capacity that works for many different vegetables like squash, cucumbers, corn, and potatoes. Then finally the large shallow has a 9.2g capacity for sorting, cleaning, and processing larger harvestings from the garden. You can also get a variation of the sizes in our TubTrugs bundle. Also, available in a heavy-duty mesh colander design that allows for water and dirt to freely flow through it. Travis demonstrates a trick for easily washing your vegetables with the medium and colander TubTrug. Before you bring them inside to start cooking them you must first wash them off. To begin, take the medium TubTrug and fill it halfway with water. Then, place the vegetables in the TubTrug colander. The colander fits perfectly in the medium container so we take the colander and dip it the water and swish it around in the medium container. Once the vegetables are nice and clean you can simply pull the colander up from the medium container and take the colander inside. The colanders mesh design ensures that all the water will drain out properly so you don't have to worry about it dripping throughout the house. Using this trick will provide you a quick and easy way to simply wash and clean your vegetables before bringing them inside to cook.

This allows you to quickly harvest trellising tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cut flowers, and other vegetables.
