What is a USDA Hardiness Zone?
The USDA Plant Hardiness Zone Map is the standard by which gardeners and growers can determine which perennial plants are most likely to thrive at a location. Zones on the map identify the average Annual Extreme Minimal temperature drawn from data over the last 30 years.
