Sofire is sooo Fire!

I bought a variety bundle from Hoss season before last. Incl was Sofire red. In past years Id grown Red Creole or Southern Belle red. because those were what were available at my prior supplier. The Sofire not only grew beautifully, they were the first ones ready, a full 2 months earlier than I usually had to wait for Red Creole. (Red Creole often had many small or rotted bulbs ) Sofire bulbs were big, gorgeous, longer lasting and had great, mild flavor. Not as mild as Vidora or 1015y, but close. Actually, everything Id want in a red onion. Im so pleased Hoss is offering the plants again.

As always, plants arrived in good condition. A little dried and yellowed but they will come back. They always do.

The plants were very fresh and looked just like the photo. I can’t wait to harvest them. I also received more than the expected 50 plants. I will be ordering from them again!
