Growing Information

RubyBor F1 Hybrid Kale can be direct-seeded or transplanted, though we recommend transplanting for the strongest start and most uniform spacing. Start transplants 3–4 weeks before your desired planting date. This award-winning hybrid forms compact, bushy plants with striking deep purple foliage that holds its color throughout the season. RubyBor performs exceptionally well in garden beds, raised beds, and containers, offering both ornamental beauty and delicious harvests.
