Growing Information

Growing Instructions

Fresh parsley is easy to grow with our 4-inch Parsley Seed Disks. Simply fill a pot with a quality potting mix, place the seed disk on the soil surface, and cover with approximately ¼ inch of potting mix. Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist until the seeds germinate.

Place your pot in a location that receives 4–6 hours of direct sunlight each day or provide supplemental lighting if growing indoors. Parsley seeds germinate more slowly than many herbs and typically sprout in 14–28 days. Be patient and keep the soil evenly moist during this time.

Once plants are established, water when the top inch of soil begins to dry. Harvest the outer stems first, leaving the center of the plant intact so it can continue producing fresh leaves throughout the season.

For best results, pair your Parsley Seed Disk with our 5" Terra Cotta Pot Set, complete with matching drip trays, reusable chalkboard labels, and a chalk marker for an organized and attractive herb garden.
