Camarosa strawberries are a vigorous, high-yielding, June-bearing fruit BUT typically bears fruit starting in March. The fruit can vary from being long and wedge-shaped to large and conical; they have brilliant red color, are glossy, and have an exceptional flavor profile. Easy to grow for the beginner. This variety is excellent for freezing. Planting in late October-early November, you will be harvesting fruit the following spring! In warmer climates, this variety can often begin harvest time in March with a harvest that can last up to 3-4 weeks. A great variety for the family to enjoy! When the plants are healthy, the mature plants will grow on average 8 inches tall and spread 1 foot across with a shallow root system.
