Description

Aster Azumi XL Blue (Callistephus chinensis) is a tall, elegant annual aster known for its large pompon-style blooms and striking blue color — a hue not typically found in chrysanthemums. Each flower measures 7–7.5 cm in diameter and opens gradually into a full, rounded form with long shelf life. The Azumi XL series produces strong, uniform stems that are easier to grow to height than the Matsumoto or Bonita series and features a top-flowering, spray-type habit ideal for professional cut flower production. With intermediate resistance to Fusarium and a consistent bloom set from late summer through fall, this variety delivers reliable color and form to both garden beds and floral arrangements.
