Additional Information

Bold, aromatic, and beautifully textured, Berggarten Sage is a standout culinary herb prized for its large, rounded, silvery-green leaves and intense flavor. Compared to common sage, Berggarten offers thicker foliage, fewer flowers, and more consistent leaf production—making it a favorite for cooking.

Our Berggarten Sage plugs are grown in biodegradable Ellepots, promoting strong root development and fast establishment after transplanting. Ellepots reduce transplant shock and allow roots to grow freely into the surrounding soil, creating healthy, long-lived plants.

This hardy perennial thrives in full sun and well-drained soil and becomes drought tolerant once established. Berggarten Sage is perfect for kitchen gardens, raised beds, containers, and ornamental herb borders, offering both culinary performance and visual appeal year after year.
